As the number of people infected by Corona virus continue to rise up, the government of Malawi has put in place different preventive measures in order to contain the spread of it. Among other things, government has instructed that people must;

• Wash hands thoroughly and regularly with water and soap for at least 20 seconds or alcohol-based hand sanitizer,
• Always maintain social and physical distance of at least 1.5 meters
• Wearing face masks
• Covering our nose and mouth with our bent elbow or tissue when coughing or sneezing 
• Avoid hand shaking. 

I want to take this opportunity to thank the directors and Management of Namikango Mission for providing face masks, hand sanitizers to each and every employee. At the entrance of our office, there is a bucket of water and soap and every one entering the office is encouraged to wash hands. This, Namikango has done to make sure that its employees are safe both at the office and even at home. Thanks for protecting our lives and that of our families.
