Winston and Victoria, along with their daughter, Chisomo, have come from Kasungu district. They have two other children, Precious, and Mwayi, who have stayed back with family to complete school. Winston has four brothers and one sister. Victoria has three sisters and one brother. Sadly, both Winston and Victoria have lost a parent. Both Winston and Victoria have completed their high school degree in 2015. This makes Victoria an exception, as many young women aren’t able to complete their high school education. Both Winston and Victoria farm at home to help provide for their needs, growing a variety of crops, as well as keeping livestock. They use agriculture as a means of business and source of income. In his free time, Winston enjoys travelling, watching TV, reading, and chatting with his kids. Victoria enjoys singing, watching TV and chatting with friends. Winston has also furthered his education by enrolling in SHBI (South Houston Bible Institute), and is doing really well. When asked what they hope to learn while at Namikango, they both want to learn about leadership, personally and in the church, and to gain a greater understanding of who God is and his mission and how that affects their own identity, and the rest of the world. Victoria hopes to one day open an orphanage to care for the needy in her community. Winston would some day like to own his own radio station where he can preach the word of God. He also hopes to become a leader, perhaps in the government, and use his resources to assist his wife in taking care of orphans and the needy in the world.
