The Namikango Football Club began as a small effort to provide local youth with a faith-centered outlet and has grown into a respected team and vibrant ministry tool. Recognizing football’s popularity in Malawi, Namikango uses the sport to mentor young men through Christ-centered discipleship.
Competing as one of the top teams in Malawi’s regional league, the club is known for both its skill and character. Several players also find part-time work at Namikango, helping to support themselves and their families while staying connected to the ministry. The team has become a bridge to reach those who might not step into a church, offering community, purpose, and hope.
Through this football club, Namikango is shaping leaders who model service, humility, and perseverance — on the pitch, in their homes, and in the community.
