With Albright Stadium and Namikango Football Club in action, Namikango’s campus sees a lot of visitors and fans. Weekend game days are usually packed, and provide a great atmosphere for fun and community engagement.
This is one of the ways Namikango engages the community, but also a way we generate some income. The stadium is not only used for games. It is a venue that is rented fairly frequently for other events like weddings, photo shoots, and conferences. This last month, the government used our facility for a large educational initiative they are running on agriculture: intercropping and peanut production. Football Association of Malawi (FAM) also booked the football ground to raise funds for their chapter in the southern region of Malawi.
Your support and partnership goes beyond primary ministry and education. Many people from all domains and sectors in Malawi, including government, education, non-profit organizations, and sports) are influenced by the existence and work of Namikango. Be blessed today knowing that you are making an impact that goes beyond what you or I can see or know right now.
